Tide Sister 006 comes from much earlier in my life.
She is a reimagining of one of the mermaids I drew as a child. I returned to that original drawing and stayed as close as I could to her childhood design, while letting her surface again as part of the Tide Sisters. Some things have changed, but I wanted the little girl who first created her to still be there.
The Tide Sisters are a growing collection of small original mermaids, each with her own colors, expression, and personality. No two are exactly alike. They surface one by one—or sometimes in schools—as part of an ongoing collection of 300.
